Hollywood, Homewood, Alabama Private Residence

11 Bonita Street is a wonderful home I had the opportunity to photograph this Fall.  In the past few years it had been renovated by the Birmingham architecural firm Dungan and Nequette.  The style of architecture is Spanish Colonial Revival also referred to as Spanish eclectic which features white exterior stucco walls, little or no eave overhang, terracotta tiled roof, and usually an asymmetrical facade.  As you will see in the photographs a beautiful master suite was added on the rear in a rustic/modern style wrapped in glass, mullions, copper, and reclaimed wood.  The glass walls give way to a great view of a private garden and cozy exterior fireplace.  The interior of this home is just as amazing as the exteriors, however, I can not show these to you yet until I get permission.  I did some research on the town of Hollywood's orgin and Wikipedia had great information worth reading.  Here is the link:  CLICK HERE.  More information about the Architect George Turner: CLICK HERE
